8、My days at UCLAN were both valuable and enjoyable, not only did I learn and develop my construction skills there, I also developed inter personal skills and built up quite a taste for competitive design in the field of Architecture. I came to UCLAN having done a two year HNC course via. Preston College. I have been sponsored by Croft Goode Limited Architects since I was 17, they have encouraged me to succeed academically along side my practice role, working 4 days a week and 1 day in University, this has therefore worked out well for them too as they have reaped the success of my newly found skills over the years. I was the 2006 Winner of the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologist's Student Award for Technical Excellence.

I have recognized the interest of my own that I am more outstanding with my English speaking, all the time, I focus on its practice most and spend much more time in the practice of it without consciousness. And I have developed the habit that every day I would woke up at 6 o’clock and practiced one hour oral English by the lake in the campus before going to have classes at 8 o’clock in the morning. Under this point , I have also laughed at by others ,too, but I never feel influenced cause it is my interest in and my habit which have been developed for many years. Therefore , I won’t give up!
